No Regrets Just Love

why am i actually sad about high school ending soon? Didn’t think i would be this upset.

I’m sitting in my room cleaning things out and packing it up for it to be brought down to florida and I came across a letter that my parents wrote me when I was in eighth grade. It was a letter that was given to us when we went on a retreat. The letter was dated March 31, 2008. That was exactly four years ago. Four years ago I was getting ready to go on to high school and now I’m getting ready to leave. So much has changed in these past four years, it’s crazy. it’s just so weird that I found this letter today when it was written four years ago and it wasn’t even planned. In four months i’ll be in miami starting a new chapter in my life. 

I don’t think I realize how lucky I am and how more appreciative I should be. I got into two of the best fashion schools in the country: FIT and Parsons, and it didn’t really faze me because I knew I would never be able to afford going to Parsons without being totally in debt for the rest of my life. Now thinking about it I should feel really special that I got into these programs even if I am not going to these schools. For me just getting in is enough.
